Vision Board.

Happy new month my lovelies💋. Today been the beginning of a March, I thought I would share with y’all this eye opening treasure I stumbled upon… vision board.

I am sure most of y’all know what a vision board is or at least you have heard of it. Well, for me a vision board is a board depicting images of your future goals, what you want to achieve in the near future.

I am sure in most of our homes there are beautiful framed pictures; perhaps wedding photos, graduation photos, birthday photos and what not, right? These are all memories from our past and we have them because they remind us of certain time back and they also have some sentimental value to us. But have you ever thought of also framing your future just the way you do to the past photos? Do you also know the end is way more important than the beginning?

Importance a Vision Board and how it works.

So why a vision board?? What’s its  importance and how does it work? I guess that’s what your thinking… Huh! 😕

Vision is the path along which the choice you have made sojourns before it materializes. In its absences, destruction is imminent. Proverbs 29:18, where there is no vision people perish. It is very vital to have a vision in that, if you have it you flourish and if you do not you perish (die).

Habakkuk 2:2-3, Vision calls for supervision, self-control and guidance if it has to produce. It is vital to run with the vision of the choice you have made fir it to bear fruits at the appointed time

A vision board makes the clarity of our dreams come to pass. Understand that, you will never leave where you are until you see where you rather be. Whatever you surround yourself with, you are moving towards it. In other words, Your life moves towards the dominating images you put before your eyes constantly and this compels you to achieve it. So if you keep seeing your dreams and goals you become motivated to achieve them and you succeed. All that your eyes see can be yours.

Remember Abraham in the bible? God told him to look at the sand and stars and count them and he promised him that he would have as many descendants as the sand and stars. At this time, Abraham live in the desert, he was surrounded with sand and at night the stars covered the sky. Now Abraham saw this everyday and it reminded him of God’s promise. You become what you see. This can affect you positively and negatively as well. Abraham’s nephew Lot put up his tent toward Sodom and Gomorrah. Everyday he saw Sodom and Gomorrah and my lovelies You become what you behold.

In Romans 4: 17, Calling those that are not as they are. Well! this is basically the whole notion about vision boards.

  • Give yourself permission to dream (have a vision)
  • Write the vision, keep it on paper, Habakkuk 2:2, Write the vision and make it plain.
  • Keep the vision before your eyes. You become what you behold, this is a principle in God’s word.Joel Maxwell once said that “The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine”

Proverbs 23:7, Whatever a man thinks in his heart so he becomes. What you think about, you bring about. Not my words☺guys!!God’s words!! So create a vision board today and get inspired and motivated to achieve you dreams. Remember to thank God everyday for your visions and constantly making a way for you to achieve them.

Personally, I do not have a vision board but I have downloaded an application on my phone called ‘iwish’  it helps me create my vision board of which I make sure to constantly check out daily. I am sure there are different applications on both play store and apple store for this purpose, which may fit your taste or liking. Let us invest in ourselves by creating a vision board that will encourage us to achieve our dreams and become successful together.

I hope this help you create a vision board and motivates you to achieve all your dreams and goals. Remember to like, comment and share this. Thank you and I love you to the moon and back for reading this❤❤❤.

Xoxoxo Mimo.
